![]() This time, the QD rep told me that they had resubmitted the claim in March, but it was denied again, and it looked like the wrong info was once again submitted. The rep at QD said that they would update the claim and it would get resubmitted go through – Four months later I received the same bill again much to my dismay, and once again contacted them to see if the issue could be resolved. Quest had no problem charging my insurance. Getting results, however, is a nightmare, and trying to find out what is going on with missing results is a battle with rude and incompetent personal. Again, I had no problem with the tech who drew the blood or the local facility. My doctor is furious that I did not have the lab work done at the local hospital. I was lied about the nature of the tests being done, and instead of trying to find out why I was not getting the results, I was given the royal run around and told Quest would send me a copy of the doctor's order, which I already had. When I e-mail the only answer I can get is "results pending." I called the 800 number and was treated with extreme rudeness. Two weeks later many of my results are still pending. All seemed to go well with the blood draw and my appointment was on time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I had blood drawn at the Quest Diagnostics center in Longmont, Colorado. I hope to hear back from you regarding this matter and any steps that will be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I urge you to review your policies and procedures to ensure that all patients, including transgender individuals, are treated with the respect and care that they deserve. It is important that all individuals, regardless of their gender identity, receive the necessary medical care and treatment they need. This lack of care and consideration is unacceptable, especially given the already difficult circumstances that my child faces as a transgender individual. No one contacted us to let us know, nor granted our check in 1.5 hours prior to closure. However, after waiting for an extended period of time, we were not texted, and the facility closed without my child receiving the necessary care. We were told to wait in the car and that we would receive a text when it was time to come in. ![]() My daughter utilized system and checked in. A female staff member verified system is working. Upon arrival, my child, who is a transgender individual, came in for a scheduled blood work appointment. I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the care my child received at your facility today.
